Standard First Aid Training with AED
Cost $40.00
Class Length: 9:30am until 5:00pm (7 1/2 hours)

Adult CPR with AED
Combining lecture, video demonstrations and hands-on manikin training, this course teaches participants to:
- Call and work with Emergency Medical Services (EMS)
- Care for conscious and unconscious choking victims
- Perform CPR and care for breathing and cardiac emergencies in adults
- Avoid bloodborne pathogen exposure
- Know the role of Automated External Defibrillator's (AED) in the Cardiac Chain of Survival.
- Learn to use the AED while CPR is in progress.
Scheduled Adult CPR with AED classes are from 9:30am until 1:00pm. Cost for Adult CPR with AED alone is $25.00
First Aid
Lectures, interactive video demonstrations, discussions and hands-on training teach participants how to:
- Recognize emergency situations
- Check the Scene and Call for help
- Avoid bloodborne pathogen exposure
- Care for wounds, bone and soft tissue injuries, head and spinal injuries, burns, and heat and cold emergencies
- Manage sudden illness, stroke, seizure, bites and poisoning
- Minimize Shock
Special arrangements must be made in order to take First Aid alone. Contact your local Red Cross chapter for more information.
Standard First Aid Training with AED/Infant and Child CPR
Cost $40.00
Class Length: 8:00am until 5:00pm (9 hours) See the Class Calendar
In addition to the lessons in the Standard First Aid Training (above) we include lectures, interactive video demonstrations, discussions and hands-on training teach participants how to:
- Learn special rules regarding child and infant care (such as gaining consent)
- Call and work with Emergency Medical Services (EMS)
- Care for conscious and unconscious choking children and infants
- Perform CPR and care for breathing and cardiac emergencies for both infants and children
- Avoid bloodborne pathogen exposure
Standard First Aid/AED with Infant and child CPR is given on scheduled Saturday classes. Contact the Southwest Missouri chapter of the American Red Cross for Details on times.
